Vicki has worked in film and television production for over 25 years. She has a Masters in Creative Writing from University of Technology in Sydney and has written, directed and produced award winning live action and animation shorts. In 2004 her short film Moustache premiered in competiton at the Venice Film Festival.
In 2013 Vicki was recipient of Screen Australia’s Talent Escalator Program and took up residency at Binger Lab in Amsterdam, mentored by leading story developers Franz Rodernkichen and Christian Routh.
In 2014 Vicki was Convenor of the Graduate Diploma Program at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and was also facilitator in its Story Incubator Lab. Between 2015-17 Vicki was Manager of Production, Development & Studios at the South Australian Film Corporation and in 2017 she returned to AFTRS to take up the position of Acting Head of Production.
Currently, Vicki is working as writer and story developer with a number of directors while also Executive Producer for the South Australian Film Corporation's 2017 slate of fully financed Indigenous Short Film projects.
